How does the DNACambodia project work?
If you haven't taken a DNA test yet, or if you have and want to know what steps to take next, please check our advice tool.
After you bought your DNA test, you will take the test at home, and return the test to the laboratory for analyzation. To be part of the project, you would have to join the DNACambodia project within FamilyTreeDNA, and if your DNA is not yet in that database, you would have to transfer it there. All instructions to download RAW DNA and upload it to other databases, like FamilyTreeDNA, are within our DNA Testing menu.
The DNACambodia project checks for matches regularly, we strive to do this every three months, but you could also check for matches regularly yourself.
