Starting in the 1970s, Cambodia was plunged into a devastating conflict. War, genocide, poverty and adoption ripped families apart, and the chaos left in the wake of the political upheaval made it extremely difficult for these families to find each other, even decades later.
Our mission is to empower Cambodian genocide survivors and their descendants worldwide to find lost family members, reclaim family histories, and heal from historical traumas and ongoing challenges.
Reconnecting Cambodia provides access to resources, support, and safeguarding services for those searching for and reuniting with lost family members.
Our application to be a registered UK charity has been submitted to Companies House and we are delighted that Amara Sao, Ladin Chhay and Y Sok have agreed to be Trustees.
